08/03/2025 - 2nd RFCOM Technical Conference

After the successful organization of the 1st Technical Conference that we held for the first time in 2023, we decided with great pleasure to organize the 2nd RFCOM Technical Conference. It took place on March 8 and 9, 2025 at The Met Hotel in Thessaloniki and we were honored with their presence by many friends and associates from all over Greece.

Our goal was during this two-day event to attempt and achieve an in-depth technical briefing on new technologies and innovative products of our partner companies PULSAR, IMOU, RISCO, TRIKDIS, DAHUA, ATEE, INIM. Also, Mr. Kouskoubekakis Alexandros undertook the presentation of the application of optical fiber in the security systems sector.

PULSAR honored us with the presence of Mr. Tomasz Lekki who presented the company's very wide range of products with perforated boxes that are suitable for CCTV applications as well as alarm systems. Also in the power supply category, DIN RAIL solutions, BACKUP with the ability to provide autonomy, and power supplies with fault outputs were presented. The company MW presented switching power supplies that have outputs with PTC fuses for each camera channel.

On the 1st day of the conference, with great success, Mr. Vasilis Arvanitis and Tasos Grigoriadis presented the new Dahua Alarm and the possibility of integrating the alarm system with CCTV on a platform exclusively for technicians, DOLYNK. The presentation was two-way and gave the opportunity to clarify many questions of the participants.

Trikdis was represented by our long-time partners Mr. Algridas Baciauskas Mr. Alfredas Pilkauskas, Mr. Jaroslav Kimso and Mr. Vytautas Petrovas. They presented the new communicator modules GT, GT+ and GET, which are based on the successful G16 series and have the ability to connect to any alarm system via tel. line or BUS as well as providing two communication channels (Ethernet or GPRS). A great innovation of Trikdis is the Protegus 2-Company platform which essentially gives the capabilities and functions of a C.S.C. to technicians so that each Security company can receive the signals of the modules and forward them to any C.S.C. as well as manage them.

The capabilities of the SP3 were also presented in combination with the SECTEMP board which is a construction of the technical department of RFCOM and provides control and recording of temperatures with application in a wide range of installations. After the presentation, gifts were given by the Trikdis company with a draw to lucky attendees.

The first day ended with the very interesting presentation of Mr. Andrea Battaglia from the IMOU company who, in addition to the very popular wifi IP 4G cameras, also presented the cameras with external solar panel for special installations where there is no local power supply. In the context of security, the IMOU company also offers locks and stand-alone intercoms. The smart home solutions series was also presented. At the end, Mr. Battaglia surprised the attendees with rich gifts!

On the 2nd day of the conference, Mr. Alexandros Kouskoubekakis gave a different approach to the field of optical fiber in combination with alarm and CCTV systems and solved many questions and concerns about the new installation method. Using optical fiber technology, he presented solutions that can replace older copper cables with significant advantages such as the use of fewer materials, lower costs both financially and in terms of energy. The same solutions can also save valuable time during installation and ease subsequent maintenance of a project.

A surprise for those present was the presentation of the Home Assistance system by Mr. Karagiannis, an innovative platform that involves the integration of security systems, CCTV, and Automation, if the technician chooses, into a "unified platform".

Mr. Mirosław Zając, representing ATTE, presented its "magical" products, providing solutions for CCTV power supply with stability and reliability. In the context of this presentation, Mr. Xygakis presented an alternative proposal for powering CCTV systems with the ability to operate autonomously in the event of a power outage.

Starting the second day of the presentation, rich gifts were given by the Dahua company. Then, Mr. Vasilis Arvanitis and Tasos Grigoriadis presented the smart functions of TiOC cameras, which, thanks to SMD and AI technologies, can ensure the correct coverage of an area by covering it in combination with the alarm system of the same company. There was also a presentation of specialized models of thermal cameras, increasing security capabilities even in difficult weather conditions, as well as a new proposal for fire control. After the end of the presentation, they were available to our partners to discuss and answer all questions.

Mr. Andronikos Kokkinos presented the new wireless system LightSYS Air by Risco, which has all the features of the LighSYS+ system with the ease of connectivity in installations that do not have the option of wiring. The same system allows the technician to program it even through a mobile phone, as well as the end user to manage it via an application.
